What is the purpose behind 2nd Hour?
Many who attend the Olive Campus have asked for an after-service program. 2nd Hour has been created to help facilitate a deeper connection with others who worship at Olive, while providing a great opportunity to engage with our YNCC community. 2nd Hour is also a great place to build new friendships with other fellow Olive attendees.
What time will 2nd Hour start?
It will begin after the worship service. Groups can decide to grab their lunch and eat together at about 12:45pm or eat first, then gather and meet by 1:15pm.
How long is the group time?
45 minutes to 1 hour.
Who will lead the groups?
Each group will be led by a pre-assigned facilitator.
Where will the groups meet?
The groups will meet mostly around different areas within AT&T Bldg (auditorium, patio, downstairs) or nearby coffee shops (Starbucks).
What content will be used for 2nd Hour?
The content will be sermon-based. Individuals will have an opportunity to casually share what they've just heard in worship, whether it be application, perspective or even to seek more clarity.
What will the group formation look like?
The groups will also be mixed in gender and changed after every 8-10 weeks.
