Bible in One Year Passages:
Mark 8:22-30, 1 Corinthians 14:26-40, Judges 20
Psalm 91: 1-4
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the LORD, "My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust."For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his pinions, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness is a shield and buckler.
As we put our trust and faith in Him be reassured and confident that He will protect and watch over us.
The words, in whom I trust strikes a cord in my heart. Do I fully trust in Him for everything? When I survey my life and my actions I don't think I fully trust in Him. I need to spend more time with Him. I think I have forgotten how much I do trust in Him. Why do I forget who my first love and my protector? Starting today I will not try to question why but know that my God is always there for me. He is my refuge and I know He will never fail me.
Father forgive me for not putting all my faith and trust in you. I ask that I can turn to you for everything. I pray that my days will be filled with the thoughts of you. Today as I am reminded of your love and protection I pray that I may be able to start my day knowing the same tomorrow. In your precious name I pray. Amen.
