Bible in One Year Passages:
3 And they came, bringing to him a paralytic carried by four men. 4 And when they could not get near him because of the crowd, they removed the roof above him, and when they had made an opening, they let down the bed on which the paralytic lay. 5 And when Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, “Son, your sins are forgiven.”
The four men brought a parlytic to Jesus, even working through and overcoming barriers of crowd and a barrier of a roof, just so that the paralytic may be healed by Jesus. Their complete faith in Jesus, coupled with their detetermination to help the paralytic friend is so awesome.
I too need to have that complete faith in Jesus that all is possible. In addition, I need have the passionate care for those around me who are in need of Jesus. I need to carry out that concern, not to let that concern remain only in my thoughts and heart, but do whatever it takes to bring it and lay it in front of Jesus. Despite the barriers, spending the time and effort is what is needed to bring those in need of Jesus to Him for complete healing.
I ask for your spirit to give me courage to actually carry out the heart of concern you have placed in my heart, that just thinking about it is not enough. I pray that you'd grant me the complete faith and courage that'll lead me to take that step forward in bringing people to you. Amen.
