Bible in One Year Passages:
And he said to his disciples, "Temptations to sin are sure to come, but woe to the one through whom they come! It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he were cast into the sea than that he should cause one of these little ones to sin. Pay attention to yourselves! If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him, and if he sins against you seven times in the day, and turns to you seven times, saying, 'I repent,' you must forgive him."
Temptation is fact of life, and we will face it. But don't be a cause of others to sin. Then, forgive who sinned when he or she repents regardless of how many times.
I should be prepared to battle the sin which surely will come my way. I have to keep my guard up by remaining in God. Also, don't be a source of sin to others. It is worse than the worst thing you can do to yourself. More importantly, we have to forgive others when they repent even though they keep repeating the same sin.
Heavenly Father, help me to be aware and prepared for any temptation coming to my life and be very conscious anything I might to do causes others to sin. I can only do this through remaining in You. Also, give me Your forgiving heart. Through Your Grace and Mercy, I have been forgiven undeservingly and repeatedly. Likewise, help me to forgive others if they repent regardless of their continuous failures.
