Bible in One Year Passages:
Luke 18:18-30, Titus 1:1-9, Esther 2
Proverbs 14:2 "Whoever walks in uprightness fears the LORD, but he who is devious in his ways despises him.
Our actions tells how we view the Lord. In verse 2, it is written who fears the Lord walks in uprightness but who despises him is devious. If we truly fear the Lord and have reverence for Him, we would act according to God's instructions and act in a manner that is instructed by our Lord. But if we do not fear him and despise the Lord, we would act in any way that we would like for our own good.
I'll review my actions. What does it say about how I view the Lord? Does it say that I'm in fear of the Lord or does it say that I despise the Lord?
God the father almighty, I pray that you would open my eyes to see how I truly view you. I confess that in some areas I do not fear you and I want to ask for forgiveness and ask the Holy Spirit to work in those areas to change me. I pray that I would truly walk each day and in every situation that would reflect I'm in reverence of you.
