Bible in One Year Passages:
Matthew 19:16-30, Acts 27:13-26, Leviticus 14-16
1 I waited patiently for the LORD; he inclined to me and heard my cry. 2He drew me up from the pit of destruction, out of the miry bog, and set my feet upon a rock, making my steps secure. 3He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God.
It is comforting to know that when I patiently wait for the Lord, He delivers me. It is written that Lord inclined to me and heard my cries. It is the Lord who drew me up from the pit of destruction and out of the miry bog. It is the Lord who set my feet upon a rock and making my steps secure. It is the Lord who put a new song in my mouth. On my part, I needed to waited patiently, crying out to the Lord, following the Lord where he leads, standing away from the pit of destruction and staying where he leads me to. Singing praises to our God who delivers and is faithful
Instead of leaning on my own strength and might, I will wait upon the Lord for deliverance. I will leave the pit of destruction and set my foot on where he leads me. I will sing praises to for the Lord is faithful and will deliver me.
Lord, thank you for your faithfulness. I confess that I can not do this on my own. But when I wait patiently, crying out to you, following where you lead, I will be saved. I will forever sing praises to you. Amen.
