Bible in One Year Passages:
Luke 11:5-13, 2 Thessalonians 1:5-12, 2 Chronicles 17-18
18The LORD is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. 19He fulfills the desire of those who fear him; he also hears their cry and saves them. 20The LORD preserves all who love him, but all the wicked he will destroy.
The instructions of the Lord are very clear. If we want the Lord to be near then we must call HIM in truth and sincerity. If we want desires to be fulfilled, hear our cry and be saved, we must be fearful of Him. There is no middle ground with the Lord. We will either love Him and be saved or reject Him and be destroyed. The choice is ours.
Today and tomorrow I choose to be love and be fearful of our Lord and in truth I call out to HIM. I'll show my love today by being in the Word, prayer, and giving HIM praise and glory. I will be fearful of HIM today by having respect, keeping HIS commands and being awed at HIS creation. I'll invite HIM be the Lord of my actions today.
Father God. There is no middle ground with you. I ask you search my heart and take away all wickedness that is in me. By the blood the Christ, I asked that I be made clean so I can approach your Hold throne. I asked that you be the Lord of all my actions and thoughts today. May I be an instrument of yours, to be an witness of your goodness. May I desire what you desire. I pray that I will have your Words in my heart today and give you the glory and honor you deserve. I pray in your precious Son's name. AMEN
