Scripture

Praise the Lord, O Jerusalem! Praise your God, O Zion!
Strengthens...makes peace...sends out his word. He sends out his command to the earth;
his word runs swiftly.

Observation

Praising God as his people and his position of authority and protector. He provides for Israel and has a unique relationship with her and me. He only has given his decrees to us and we need only look to him for all that we need.

Application

In the circumstances of life, I will look only to the Lord and be comforted and strengthened in my daily walk. God sends out his word and accomplishes his purpose. I will look only to him to be my protection and my peace. God declares his word, how awesome it is to be in a personal relationship with my creator.

Prayer

Lord, you are in control and you give me your peace and protection. Give me today that assurance and confidence to remain in you and in your purpose. Thank you for the reminder that in you I find my life and my love. In Jesus's name....Amen.
