Bible in One Year Passages:
Luke 22:47-53, Hebrews 8:1-7, Isaiah 37-38
3 By wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established; 4 by knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches.
7 Wisdom is too high for a fool...
There is something so right, so rich and so obvious about verses 3 and 4, though I fail to articulate exactly what it is; even if I try, I would sound shallow. Wisdom, understanding and knowledge (the three elements)...so precious and so loaded terms these are, and I am in pursuit of acquiring these. How...? By delving into the Word daily.
Verse 7 caught my attention, though, as I am struggling to articulate my observation; and I chuckled, thinking that maybe I am a fool and that wisdom is too high for me... :o)
May the three elements exude from every aspect of my life (in my household, my work, my dealings with others, and so forth), as I continue to commune with Him through the Word and prayers, even when I fail to express myself as to exactly how I am going to apply the three elements to my life.
My dear living God, may your wisdom, understanding not be too high for me...
