46Then Jesus, calling out with a loud voice, said, "Father, into your hands I commit my spirit!" And having said this he breathed his last.

Observation

Jesus was scourged, beaten, ridiculed, and suffered a painful death on the cross. He was sinless yet God allowed this to happen and Jesus submitted to HIS will. Why? Love for us. So that sinful man and women can be saved and avoid the eternal death. As a father who loves his children, I do not think I can allow my kids to die so that someone else might be saved. As a father, I can not even begin to imagine the pain God the Father must have gone through while seeing HIS only son, Jesus, to die in manner. What amazing LOVE must he have for us to allow this to happen ?

Application

I want to fully soaked in the AMAZING LOVE God has for us. For when I fully receive HIS love, I can pass it on.

Prayer

Abba Father, May I just soak in your LOVE today. Fill me up with your LOVE. Let it overflow so that it may be shown to others.
