Bible in One Year Passages:
Luke 24:1-12, Hebrews 11:32-40, Isaiah 57-58
Proverbs 28:20
A faithful man will abound with blessings, but whoever hastens to be rich will no go unpunished.
A person who is honest, holy and true to all that he or she does will be blessed in all measures of their lives. But the one who strives for his own desires will not be innocent before God and man.
This past week I had to make an important decision to stay at my current workplace or to move to different a institution. I had to ask myself what are the factors involved in my decision. Was it the money, the position, convenience? I really needed a heart check. Was I faithful? As I was going through the process of interviews and negotiations I did lose sight of my priorities. Thanks to the community that God has placed in my life I paused and made sure my priorities would be to share the pure Gospel, seek not to please men, but God and not myself and my own glory, but the things of Christ.
Thank you Father once again for watching over me and all the blessings in my life. I pray that I will not be blinded the by the ways for this world. Father I ask for clarity and wisdom in all that I do. I love you with all my heart. I pray all these things in your precious name. Amen
