How to Study God’s Word

You don’t need to be a scholar, but if you are to grow deep in your faith, you must know and understand the Bible. This course will walk you through the basics of personal Bible study methods and the principles of biblical interpretation to help you understand and apply God’s Word in your life. Throughout the course, you will practice newly acquired Bible study skills to make the Bible come alive in a personal way that every insight you gain will be yours for life.

Gospel in Life

Back to the Bible: The Book of Acts

From small beginnings among Jesus’ disciples, the church exploded into a worldwide force in just a few years. How? Jesus left His followers with a mission and the Spirit of God moved mightily through them to fulfill it. Through this in-depth Bible study, exploring every chapter in the book of Acts, this class will study the birth of the church and how the Spirit-filled lives of the first-century disciples carried the gospel from Jerusalem to Rome despite every conceivable obstacle, and challenge us to make an explosive impact on our ungodly world.

The Couple Checkup: Find Your Relationship Strengths

Extend: Living Out Your Missional Life

“Your Kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” We are part of the answers to this prayer of Jesus – God’s Kingdom being established here on earth. Thus we are called to extend God’s Kingdom here and now. This course will help you understand what it means to really live out your missional life. To that end, this course will examine your life as a gospel, introduce you to specific ways to extend God’s Kingdom from where you are, and challenge your preconceptions about missions and the world around you.
