Foundations of Christian Belief

We all have questions about what we believe as followers of Christ. What will happen during the end of human history? How do we understand the trinity? Can we rely on the testimony of the Bible? Who is the Holy Spirit? This course takes you through 8 essential fundamentals of Christian Belief that every Christian should know. Whether you are starting out your spiritual journey or more seasoned in your spiritual walk, we will address Scripturally these doctrines so that you understand with your mind, love them in your heart, and live out what you believe.

Premarital Class: Making Love a Habit

You invest thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours into planning your perfect wedding, but how much do you invest in your preparation to become husband and wife? Come learn to put Christ at the center of your relationship, and the knowledge and skills to form life-giving habits. Some of the topics covered are: Honoring your Spouse, How to Deal with Anger, Communication and Listening, Finances and In-laws.

Daily Practices of Healing

Dates: 8 wks. starting 2/12

Healing is not the absence of pain, but the presence of God’s peace, joy and gratitude. In order for the healing to take place, people need to learn and practice the foundational skills; appreciation, interacting with Jesus and sharing Immanuel (God with us) stories with others. This class is designed to help you practice these core skills. In addition, this class is for those who are looking to grow and practice these skills on a daily basis.

Absolute Beginners Guitar

Dates: 8 wks. starting 2/13
Days and Time: Mondays, 6:30-7:30p
Location: Broadway Campus Jr. High Hall

This class is for absolute beginners who have never played and desire to learn basic chords and strumming techniques. By the end of the course the student will learn how to play simple songs. There will be a $20 fee for music sheets and materials. You are required to bring a guitar (preferably a steel string acoustic) and a folding music stand on the first day of class.

Beginners Level 1 Guitar

Dates: 8 wks. starting 2/13
Days and Time: Mondays, 7:30-8:30p
Location: Broadway Campus Jr. High Hall

This class is for those who have taken the Beginning Guitar course or those who can strum basic chords and simple songs. The goal of the course is to master basic chords and strumming techniques, as well as improve playing skills for moderately difficult songs. There will be a $20 fee for new students ($10 for past students) for music sheets and materials. You are required to bring a guitar (preferably a steel string acoustic) and a folding music stand on the first day of class.
