Welcome to the YNCC Family

If you would like more information about YNCC or would like to become a registered member of YNCC, then this is the class designed for you. During our 4-week journey together, we will seek to reflect on our relationship with God, refresh our understanding of the Gospel, remind ourselves of the mission of our church, and recommit ourselves to serving one another as a member of God’s family.
*Prerequisite: adult baptism or confirmation (if baptized as an infant)
How to Study God’s Word
Dates: 8 wks. starting 2/12

You don’t need to be a scholar, but if you are to grow deep in your faith, you must know and understand the Bible. This course will walk you through the basics of personal Bible study methods and the principles of biblical interpretation to help you understand and apply God’s Word in your life. Throughout the course, you will practice newly acquired Bible study skills to make the Bible come alive in a personal way that every insight you gain will be yours for life.
Gospel in Life
Dates: 6 wks. starting 2/26

How do you live out the Christian faith beyond the Sunday experience? Based on the curriculum developed by Tim Keller, this class will teach how to live out our faith in our everyday life–first in our hearts, then in community, and in the city we live in. This class is also recommended for those involved or interested in local outreach.
Your Money Counts: A Crown Biblical Financial Study
Dates: 10 wks. starting 2/12

This Biblical financial study is a 10-week in-depth experience of what scripture teaches about money and possessions. Learn what the scriptural foundations for biblical stewardship are and also learn practical applications, using Crown budgeting plan to make immediate changes to your finances. Registration required by 2/5. Course material fee: $55 for singles, $65 for couples.
Back to the Bible: The Book of Acts

From small beginnings among Jesus’ disciples, the church exploded into a worldwide force in just a few years. How? Jesus left His followers with a mission and the Spirit of God moved mightily through them to fulfill it. Through this in-depth Bible study, exploring every chapter in the book of Acts, this class will study the birth of the church and how the Spirit-filled lives of the first-century disciples carried the gospel from Jerusalem to Rome despite every conceivable obstacle, and challenge us to make an explosive impact on our ungodly world.
The Couple Checkup: Find Your Relationship Strengths
Dates: 4 wks. starting 2/12

Utilizing the Couple Checkup (online relational assessment) we will review areas of strength to deepen your friendship and relationship. The class is lecture-lab where we learn and then immediately practice relational skills needed to create great relationships. Come prepared to learn what scripture has to say about your relationship and to practice relational skills throughout the week.

Starting Point is a safe place for people who are curious about God, Jesus, the Bible, or Christianity. Leading Life-Changing Small Groups

LifeGroup is our Small Group Ministry at YNCC. We believe that the small group environment is one of the best ways to grow in your relationship with God while building community within the church. This course is designed to equip potential LifeGroup leaders with the essential skills of leading an effective small group. The three areas of concentration are: Leadership, Shepherding, and Facilitating.
Connect: Cultivating Your Intimacy with God
Dates: 8 wks. starting 2/12

God invites His people to walk on this journey of faith not alone, but together with other believers. The first step of beginning this journey is to cultivate an intimate relationship with God. Come and learn what it means to live a Christian life as God’s child. You will learn how to develop different spiritual habits that you need in order to be deeply connected to God and the people around you.
