It sizzles at you on TV and pops up on your laptop. Sex. It's everywhere. But in church world, it’s discussed in low tones. Some act as if God frowns on it when it's actually a beautiful creation of God. In fact, God wants his people to have great sex! In "Let's Talk about Sex," we unravel the myths and confusion surrounding this topic and seek candid answers from God's Word.

If there has ever been a time when we have needed God's blessings, it's now when the economy is in a deep recession. But God doesn't bless arbitrarily; he requires that our hearts be right before him. And, an indicator of how our hearts are is how rich we are towards the things of God. In the "Blessings from God" series, we'll examine the connection between our finances and our hearts, and the promises of God to bless all who are generous towards him.

Kingdom Impact (KI) is a church-wide outreach initiative to "extend God's Kingdom," by sending our members OUT into the communities here and beyond. This past summer we hosted the LIVE Concert Series which was an outreach effort to bring people IN to the YNCC Community. Kingdom Impact is an outreach effort to send YNCC members OUT into the world community to impact people for HIS Kingdom. During the KI initiative (Jan. 18 - Feb. 15), there will be various opportunities for you to get involved. Our church will be going through a daily devotional together, and will be sponsoring several service projects aimed at helping those in need in our own communities and beyond. You can also sign up for a small group (if you are not currently in a LifeGroup) for the duration of the KI initiative to share your experiences and grow with other members of our YNCC community. We encourage you to begin praying for the KI initiative and thinking about possible ways you may want to impact HIS Kingdom. In our 21st century Western culture, personal names are little more than labels to distinguish one person from another. But in the Bible, a name told something about that person, often serving as a miniature portrait. This is especially true of God. During the 5-part series titled, “Names of God”, you are invited to grow closer to God as you learn of God’s character, His ways, and His promises as revealed by his names.
