Luke 23:33-38

In the final hours of his life as he hung on the cross, Jesus pronounced seven statements which etch themselves into our hearts as a summation of his life. During the 40 days of Lent leading up to Easter, we are meditating on these last words of Jesus. His cries not only uncover the depth of Jesus' suffering to accomplish our salvation, but also display the cares and attributes of God.
